Desroches Island is easily reached in a 30 minute scheduled flight from Mahe, which our reservations office will book for you at the time of making your reservation. Your international flight to Mahe can be easily booked by you on a regular scheduled flight of any one of the following international carriers: Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Condor, Kenya Airways, Air Seychelles and Air Austral.

The Desroches Island Beach Resort is located in a unique and species-rich marine eco-system and conservation area on and around the 5km by 1.5km coral island. Desroches belongs to the Amirantes group of islands which form part of the Seychelles. It is 230km south west of Mahe, the main island of the Seychelles.
Completely encircled by a beautiful 14km white, sandy beach and flat coral reef, the island drops off steeply into deep ocean. It is a totally unspoiled natural habitat for a multitude of tropical fish species, coral marine life, game and other larger fish species in the deeper waters, turtles, porpoises, whales and large tortoises on land.
The beach resort is limited in size and sensitively designed so as not to impact the preserved eco-system, and the rest of the island is undeveloped with only one small Creole village of indigenous inhabitants.
